DCL System Controls with DEMANDflex Ballasts
DCL System Controls with DEMANDflex Ballasts
Universal Lighting Technologies' DEMANDflex™ ballasts and DCL® controls put you in command of your lighting energy costs. The complete energy efficient lighting management system can further reduce your lighting levels by up to 50% on command through a variety of control options. Lowering energy consumption and avoiding costly peak demand charges is now possible with DCL systems.

The DCL control system combined with DEMANDflex ballasts allows you to use it as a stand alone control or integrate with other lighting controls for additional savings from daylight harvesting to occupancy sensors. DCL systems can be controlled from a local building management system or networked for control over the internet for demand response lighting control.

DEMANDflex ballast used without the DCL controls offer a high efficiency programmed start ballast that allows you the flexibility to be tuned at the circuit level to set power levels during installation. This unique system allows you scalability and the ability to achieve dramatic savings now and the ability of full control when needed.

Induction Lighting
Induction Lighting
Imagine, 100,000 hours of lamp life before you have to change a bulb. Induction lighting provides a white, bright light that has low ultraviolet ray emissions so lens materials won't degrade. Induction lighting is available for both outdoor and indoor applications, and is a great solution in warehouses, factories, decorative outdoor and parking structures, or anywhere where maintenance is difficult.

Lamps are available up to 12,000 lumens. Induction lighting lasts five times as long as traditional high intensity discharge (HID) systems. Induction lighting fixtures are currently being used by the cities of Beverly Hills, Glendale, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles. CRI only uses fixtures that are approved by lamp manufacturers for optimum performance.

Third Generation Ballast
Third Generation Electronic Ballasts
The newest generation of electronic ballasts provide greater light output while using 40% less energy than a standard lighting systems with magnetic ballasts. Using third generation electronic ballasts increases lighting fixture life expectancy from 12 years to 20 years.

When used in combination with our exclusive private-label third generation lamp, lamp life expectancy increases to 30,000 hours, which saves on labor and replacement costs. The ballast system carries a full five-year warranty which is serviced by CRI, so why call anyone else? CRI has installed over 500,000 of these extremely reliable ballasts.

LED Exit Sign
LED Exit Signs
LED exit signs use only two watts of power, compared to 40 watts used by a standard incandescent sign. LED exit signs are very reliable with a rated life of 25 years.

All of CRI's LED exit signs are sold with an emergency backup battery, which helps you avoid a citation for having a burned out exit lamp.

Motion Sensor
Motion Sensors
Motion sensors (occupancy sensors) are a good way to save energy in unoccupied areas. Motion sensors use two different technologies, or a combination of both. Infrared and ultrasonic technologies are used to turn lighting on and off.

CRI can recommend the best system for your office, storage, warehouse, or other area. Proper installation and location of sensors is critical to maximum efficiency operation.

Why are Lighting Retrofits Important and a Great Investment?
Electricity is generated mostly by burning fossil fuels that are proven to damage our environment. Lighting retrofits decrease the amount of energy used and thus—help protect our environment.
